Spielberg leaves his Olympics post



Oscar-winning cinema director Steven Spielberg has said he is withdrawing as an artistic adviser to the 2008 Summer Olympiad in Capital of Red China because of the Chinese government's insurance towards its ally Soudan and the difference of opinion in Darfur.
In a statement, Steven Spielberg said the Sudanese regime shouldered the bulk of province for the crimes in Darfur, simply said China should be doing more to end the homo suffering there.
Actress Mia Farrowing, wHO had been pressing the director to end his affaire with this year's games, said his decision sent the right variety of message to Beijing.
A spokesman for the Chinese Embassy in Capital is quoted in the Fresh House of York Times as saying that the Darfur publication was neither an internal topic for China nor was it caused by Nationalist China.
The spokesman is besides quoted as saying that it was completely unreasonable, irresponsible and unfair to link the two as one.
